Beautiful pics of Tamara Day and Sarah Stiles feet & legs
The children were sleeping at the crib, while I was strapped with one of them on my back. Ha! The house was starting to appear nice, however there were still many things that needed to be left. The house would need an enormous amount of work and a love of shopping. In order to keep my budget in good shape, I went out with my three boys in search for bargains in estate sales. Every week, we spent Thursday to Saturday at estate sales and garage sales, buying old and new furniture. Then I painted and sanded the driveway during the workweek. What I saw looked something similar to... this is the moment my love for restoring furniture began. When our house was completed, I was unable to quit! I had a stand at the local market and even sold some items there. There were lots of pieces, I didn't have a clue what to do with them and I outgrew my space. The house became a venue where I would host open houses where up to 1,000 people could view the items on my first floor and purchase the items. Growing Days was founded in my home. When my business grew, so did our little family. There was a perfect balance between starting a business and being a mother. Growing Days just seemed to be the right fit. Nora came into our lives in 2013 as our 4th baby. My business was booming but I was in need of a break. I decided to take a break from creating vintage furniture and I slowed down my speed in order to stay at home and help my children. It was what I wanted. After a few minutes I began to hear my phone to ring. I was getting calls from people seeking help for decorating their homes and interior remodeling. A majority of these were people who had been through my property during furniture open houses! It didn't seem long until I had a fully-fledged home renovation company. It began with taking clients on one with a speed I felt at ease with. It is likely that I would have been laughing if I had been told that the venture was going to be the premise of an upcoming tv program in the DIY Network. It's funny to think back to it.
